Getting started
How do I get a quote?
Call or text us at (931) 348-1244, email quotes@birdsongcontracting.co, or fill out the quote form on any page. For most jobs we'll reply within 24 hours to ask a few questions, schedule a walkthrough if needed, and send a written quote.
Do you charge for estimates?
No — quotes are free. For larger projects we'll usually do an on-site walkthrough at no charge so the number we give you reflects the real scope.
Are you taking on new work right now?
Yes. We schedule small handyman jobs quickly and book larger remodels and builds out a few weeks. Reach out and we'll tell you exactly where we are on the calendar.
Do you handle both small repairs and big projects?
Both. We treat a $200 handyman call with the same care as a $200,000 remodel. From a leaky faucet to a full barndominium build or a commercial freezer install, it's the same crew and the same standards.

What areas do you serve?
We're based in Linden, TN and serve Perry County plus the surrounding Middle Tennessee region — Hohenwald, Waverly, Centerville, Lobelville, Columbia, Spring Hill, Leipers Fork, Franklin, and the counties around them. If you're within about an hour of Linden, call us.
What if my town isn't listed?
Reach out anyway. We travel for the right project, especially larger builds and commercial work. The worst we'll say is that it's a bit far — and we may still be able to help.
Pricing & payment
How does your pricing work?
Handyman work is billed hourly with a small minimum; project work (remodels, roofing, builds) is quoted as a written, fixed scope. Try our cost estimator for a ballpark, then get a real written quote — the number on it is the number you pay.
Do you require a deposit?
For larger projects we typically take a deposit to cover materials and lock in your spot on the schedule, with the balance due as milestones are completed. Small jobs are usually billed on completion. Exact terms are spelled out on your quote.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, check, and major cards. Ask us about options for larger projects when we put your quote together.
Will the price change once you start?
Not without your sign-off. If we open a wall and find something unexpected, we stop and talk it through before any added work or cost — in writing. No surprise charges on the final invoice.
Licensing & warranty
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — BirdSong Contracting is licensed and carries general liability insurance for every residential and commercial job. You're never exposed if something goes wrong on your property.
Do you warranty your work?
We back our workmanship with a written 1-year warranty, and we pass through and register all manufacturer warranties on materials and equipment in your name. See our guarantee page for exactly what's covered and how to make a claim.
Do you pull permits?
When a job requires a permit, we handle it and build to code so your work passes inspection. We'll tell you up front whether your project needs one.
During the job
Will I be able to stay in my home during the work?
For most remodels, yes. We contain dust, cover floors, seal off work areas, and haul trash out so your home stays livable. For larger jobs we'll walk you through what to expect day to day.
Who will actually be doing the work?
Our own crew, led by Bob. We don't hand your job off to a rotating cast of subs you've never met — and Taylor keeps you updated on scheduling and progress the whole way through.
How do you handle clean-up?
We leave the site cleaner than we found it. Trash is hauled out, floors are protected, and the final walkthrough doesn't happen until you're happy with how the space looks.
