When you're ready to remodel, replace a roof, or build out your barndo, we apply your member discount directly to the quote. Up to $3,000 off.
The fine print, in plain English
Membership terms.
We'd rather spell this out up front than hide it in a 20-page document nobody reads.
- 90-day activation period
- Project discounts activate after 90 days of continuous membership. This keeps pricing fair for long-term members and prevents sign-up-and-cancel patterns. Priority scheduling, check-ups, and included hours start from day one.
- One discount per project
- Your membership discount applies to one project quote at a time and is not stackable with other promotions or seasonal offers.
- Discount caps
- Home Care: 5% off, up to $500 savings per project. Home Care Plus: 10% off, up to $3,000 savings per project (jobs up to $30,000).
- Month-to-month, with one guardrail
- Cancel any time — except you cannot cancel within 90 days of a completed project where the membership discount was applied. This prevents members from joining, saving thousands, and immediately cancelling.
- Included hours (Plus tier)
- Home Care Plus includes 1 hour of handyman and maintenance time per quarter. Unused hours roll forward up to a maximum bank of 4 hours. Hours are for in-person labor; materials are billed separately.
- Home check-ups
- Both plans include scheduled seasonal walkthroughs — twice a year on Home Care. We inspect the common trouble spots, flag anything that needs attention, and leave you a written summary. No upsell pressure.
- Tier changes
- Upgrade or downgrade any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle. The 90-day activation period carries over; you do not need to re-qualify.

Membership questions.
Who is this for?
Homeowners who'd rather maintain their house than wait for it to break. Home Care ($19/mo) keeps you on a seasonal upkeep schedule with priority service and a small project discount. Home Care Plus ($49/mo) is for folks with a remodel, roof, or build coming up — the bigger discount and included time pay off fast on real project work.
What actually happens during a home check-up?
We walk the house — roof, gutters, caulking, plumbing, HVAC, and the spots that fail first in our climate — and give you a short written summary of what's fine, what to watch, and what needs attention now. It's a maintenance visit, not a sales pitch. You decide what, if anything, to act on.
Why the 90-day activation period for discounts?
So the program stays sustainable. Without it, someone could sign up, book a big project with the discount, and cancel — losing us money on every membership. The 90-day window means real members save real money and the program keeps running. Everything else (priority, check-ups, included hours) starts immediately.
How does the discount get applied?
When we write your project quote, we apply your member discount automatically and show it as a line item, so you see exactly what you're saving. No codes, no forms — we handle it on our end.
What's the included handyman time on Home Care Plus?
Plus includes 1 hour of hands-on handyman and maintenance time each quarter — use it for small repairs, mounting, adjustments, whatever's on your list. Unused hours roll forward up to a 4-hour bank, and materials are billed separately.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel anytime from your member portal — except within 90 days of a project where you used the discount. That post-project window prevents the "subscribe, save thousands, immediately cancel" pattern. Outside of that, one click and you're out.
Can I start a membership after I already have a project lined up?
Yes — but the project discount won't apply to that specific job since it activates after 90 days. You'd still get priority scheduling, your seasonal check-ups, no trip fees, and (on Plus) included hours from day one. For your next project after the window, the full discount kicks in.
Can I switch between tiers?
Any time. Upgrades take effect next cycle, and the 90-day activation clock keeps running — you don't start over just because you changed tiers.
Is this refundable?
Monthly subscriptions aren't refundable, but you can cancel any time (subject to the 90-day post-project rule). Not sure it's worth it? Start with Home Care for $19 and upgrade later once a project is on the horizon.
